The 2015 Shark Week Volkswagen Beetle

Shark Week starts July. 5^th, and Volkswagen is celebrating by being the presenting sponsor of the event for the fourth year in a row. This years Shark Week vehicle is the 2015 Volkswagen Beetle.

Scott Speed, Volkswagen driver, has been racing in the Red Bull Global Rallycross in the No. 41 Shark Week Volkswagen Beetle GRC. He took his first win of the season this June at GRC Daytona, and will race the vehicle again this week in North Carolina in the fourth round of the rallycross season.

In addition to the Shark Week Beetle, an underwater Volkswagen Beetle Shark Cruiser was designed. Marine biologist, Luke Tipple, has taken it on a Subaquatic Road Trip where it swam with the sharks.
