Volkswagen BUDD-e Concept | Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Avondale

Volkswagen's BUDD-e concept vehicle was awarded as Engadget's "Best Innovation Award" at CES 2016. With it's design, performance and capabilities, there's no question why.

The Volkswagen Budd-e concept features a zero emissions drivetrain.  This drivetrain provides a range of 233 miles, which is on par with the range for gasoline powered cars today. The vehicle also has a battery that can be charged up to 80 percent within the short time of 15-30 minutes.

The interior of the Volkswagen Budd-e concept is innovative, and it features an advanced infotainment and control systems. This will allow drivers to control items such as their home's air conditioning, lights and more from their car.

Another inventive feature is gesture control 2.0. It uses cameras to register passenger's preferences such as whether or not they want to open the sliding door. It also has the capability to assist the driver with its interactive displays and projections.
