Sneak Peek - VW at New York International Auto Show 2014

With the New York International Auto Show a few weeks away, we wanted to share a sneak peek of what to expect with the Volkswagen brand.

Volkswagen will be coming out with a concept for the Alltrack Wagon. The Alltrack is not currently being sold in the United States but making their North American debut in New York. The concept is based off the Passat but focuses more on power, aggressiveness and off-road driving. The vehicle concept contains "beefier bumpers, sills and wheel arches."  - AutoTrader.com

Look out for a similar vehicle coming to the United States!

Volkswagen will also be revealing a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Sedan. The Jetta is Volkswagen's top selling vehicle in the United States. This information is from www.automobilemag.com.

Volkswagen at Chicago Auto Show

In case you missed it, several Volkswagen's were displayed and released this past week at the Chicago Auto Show!

2015 eGolf Electric

The 2015 eGolf Electric debuted at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2014. The 2015 eGolf Electric is Volkswagen's very first electric car in the United States and is set to go on sale in the United States in the fourth quarter of 2014. The eGolf is 100% electric and free from gasoline! The top speed it is able to reach is 87mph. Charge it up and you have a full tank of power! This car will set out to help consumers save money on gasoline in the long run, and continue to turn heads with the fun and adventurous design!

2014 Andretti Rallycross Beetle

Volkswagen of America and Andretti Sports Marketing teamed up together to create the new Herby of todays generation! This car was built to be one of the most powerful Beetles out there! The Andretti Rallycross Beetle may look cute, and have the bubbly look of any normal Beetle, but underneath the hood is an engine that is packing more than 560 horsepower! These all wheel drive beasts will be put to the real test as they will be driven by pros Tanner Foust and Scott Speed in the Red Bull Global Rallycross! Look for the new 2014 Andretti Rallycross Beetle this May!

2014 Bluemotion Passat Concept

The 2014 Bluemotion Passat Concept may change your mind about gasoline-fueled vehicles, as it gets an estimated 42 miles per gallon! The technology packed inside this car is truly astounding.

According to Chicagoautoshow.com, "Additional fuel savings come from the stop/start system, which shuts off the engine when the car comes to a temporary stop. As soon as the driver lifts their foot off the brake, the 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine starts again."
