Volkswagen Donating Pink Beetle to Raise Money for Cancer Research

Back in 2011, former E! News Anchor, Giuliana Rancic battled breast cancer. Today she stands as a breast cancer survivor and has founded FAB-U-WISH.

FAB-U-WISH is a program that provides wishes to women who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The program has partnered with the Pink Agenda, a nonprofit that raises money for breast cancer research.

Volkswagen is helping the cause by donating the very first 2017 Volkswagen Pink Beetle to an auction that will raise money for breast cancer research. The winning bidder will be the very first Volkswagen Pink Beetle driver, meet Giuliana and be invited to attend the Pink Agenda's Annual gala.

According to Volkswagen Newsroom, when Giuliana was asked what she hopes can be accomplished with the Volkswagen Pink Beetle she responded, "Funds raised through the #PinkBeetle auction will help us grant more wishes and fund research needed for our greatest wish – finding a breast cancer cure."

Volkswagen of America and Andretti Sports Marketing teamed up together to create the new Herby of todays generation! This car was built to be one of the most powerful Beetles out there! The Andretti Rallycross Beetle may look cute, and have the bubbly look of any normal Beetle, but underneath the hood is an engine that is packing more than 560 horsepower! These all wheel drive beasts will be put to the real test as they will be driven by pros Tanner Foust and Scott Speed in the Red Bull Global Rallycross! 2014 Bluemotion Passat Concept

The 2014 Bluemotion Passat Concept may change your mind about gasoline-fueled vehicles, as it gets an estimated 42 miles per gallon! The technology packed inside this car is truly astounding.

According to Chicagoautoshow.com, "Additional fuel savings come from the stop/start system, which shuts off the engine when the car comes to a temporary stop. As soon as the driver lifts their foot off the brake, the 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine starts again."
