The 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack | Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Avondale

This month, Volkswagen introduced the 2017 Golf Alltrack. With it's combined practicality and fun-to-drive nature, it's ready for any adventure.

In fact, Volkswagen kicked off the launch of the 2017 Golf Alltrack by exploring Washington. They started out in Seattle, showing off the full 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack line, as seen in the images below.

Volkswagen then had Andru Edwards, Top 25 Tech Influencer and Geek Wire columnist, put the 2017 Volkswagen Alltrack to the test by taking it off-roading. As you can see, it clearly passed with flying colors.

Next was Bainbridge Island, where a group of drivers took off in the 2017 Volkswagen Alltrack for a day of exploring beautiful scenery and activities.

The Volkswagen Golf Alltrack is built tough with 4Motion all-wheel drive, a fuel-efficient 1.8-liter TSI turbocharged and direct-injected four-cylinder engine, 170 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque.

Additional features include a rugged appearance with unique bumpers, wheel wells, and side sills. The S and SE trimlines also boast 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, while the SEL trim has 18-inch wheels.

The 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack will hit dealerships this fall. In the mean time, click here to learn more: http://bit.ly/1RuRpmC

2016 Volkswagen e-Golf Named Best Compact in the 2016 AAA Green Car Guide

In case you missed it, the 2016 Volkswagen e-Golf was named the Best Compact in the 2016 AAA Green Car Guide.

Joerg Sommer, Vice President of Product Marketing for Volkswagen of America said, “This award is a testament to the many strengths of the e-Golf—cutting-edge technology, versatility, efficiency and value along with the fun to drive element that is so characteristic of the Volkswagen brand.”

Winning this award is no easy feat either. To be named this, the Volkswagen e-Golf had to receive a high score in 13 categories including: fuel economy, emissions, braking, crashworthiness, handling, acceleration, ride quality, cargo-carrying capacity, interior noise, ease of entry and exit, roominess, maneuverability, and visibility.

It's no surprise that the 2016 Volkswagen e-golf passed though, with it being based on the award-winning Golf architecture. Features include more cargo space than any midsize sedan, a permanent-magnet altering current (AC) motor, a range of 83 miles and a combined estimated EPA of 116 MPGe.

Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Avondale - Volkswagen Golf R Touch

Volkswagen has debuted the Volkswagen Golf R Touch concept vehicle! If you love technology, wait until you see what this vehicle has in store! This best part about this vehicle is the display system that is controlled by hand motions to help eliminate distracted driving. This new system is titled MIB II where it contains Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, and other smartphone integration standards. The vehicle contains a 12.8-inch screen, an 8-inch screen to control climate, and a 12.3-inch display.
The displays are controlled through touchscreens or hand motions and can be customized.

Volkswagen integrated touch pads in this vehicle to control the steering wheel, door locks, radio volume, audio tuning, navigation, and interior lights!

"One cool, semi-unrelated feature VW decided to throw into the R Touch concept is “Race Staging,” a sort of performance-meter setting for the center display that shows vehicle data as well as a live-action feed from a front-mounted video camera, while engine sounds are enhanced and “chassis vibrations” are amplified via seat actuators."

We really like this Volkswagen Golf R Touch concept. What do you think?
